Meet Eva

When we browsed the wares at the Mauerpark that time I told you about (when will you learn to listen to me?!), I haggled for a photo album full of a family’s polaroids from the 1960′s. Eva is in the majority of the pictures, making pretty much the same face in all of them.

Here she is at the Titisee in Baden-Württemberg in 1968:

That’s her classic Eva pose.

She and her family traveled around Europe, stone-faced, and took pictures everywhere they went. I’m going to share the polaroids with you (possibly on Mondays – like a theme or something), because I find them fascinating and the internet is made up of people who find useless things fascinating. I just want to do my part.

So check this space for all your Eva needs in the future.
